The Challenge

Silica Resources Australia (SRA) is a 100% Australian Owned specialist silica mining company, producing high-quality silica for use in frac sand, renewable energy, defence industries and advanced technological applications. With increasing demand for premium-grade silica, SRA needed a fast and reliable partner to help bring their processing facility to life.

SRA approached us to take on a critical scope: construct a fully operational silica processing plant capable of washing and screening silica to meet strict industry standards. The timeline was tight, the environment unpredictable—tropical wet season rains—and the stakes high, with a supply contract hinging on successful delivery.

The Solution

We delivered a complete mining infrastructure solution, handling the mechanical and electrical for the entire plant, including site commissioning. Our integrated approach helped streamline workflows, reduce downtime, and improve overall system usability for plant operators.

To ensure the project could launch without delay, we also supplied a robust 550kVA generator, providing remote power generation for the entire site until the utility connection was established. This solution eliminated downtime and kept critical operations on track.
